I partially work from home, the other part I am nannying for two little munchkins. Working from home is GREAT but I tend to hang out in coffee shops and do work so that I am around people; A few weeks back I met this FUN and SWEET girl who also works from home at a Meetup event. We talked about “working” together and last week we did and it was a SMASHING success. We met at Scout a fantastic coffee shop in San Luis Obispo CA. Yesterday after my morning “JOB” (I call it just over broke) I met her at her house and we talked, worked, and hung out. For dinner we went to Urbane Cafe….um healthy deliciousness
This beauty is their Cranberry and Brea….SO SO good….working hard on being an intuitive eater and this hit the spot and was satisfying.
Well you all dont need a play by play but hanging with this girl is so fun and we get stuff done. Grateful for new friends!
Got up at 6 today and had my shake and did some work 🙂 Today I am doing a fun beauty bar from my house! LOVE MY JOB
(in the shake berries, ice, spinach, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, 2 scoops of Arbonne protein and water.) This deliciousness will hold me through my hike!
Hope you all have a GREAT Saturday!

Self care is not something I learned about until I was getting my MA in Psychology. As an introvert its important for me to have quiet time and time to be by myself. Sometimes this means a walk, or taking myself out for a meal, or reading. Recently I have been learning more about pampering myself with manicures, massages etc. I am on a budget so these are not common occurrences but I sure do enjoy them when I can.
I have taken the cheap route and started doing my own weekly foot spas with Arbonne’s awesome Seasorce Detox line.
I have a white tub I fill with warm water and add the rescue wash and soak my feet for 10-15 minutes. Then I scrub my feet and legs with the sea salt scrub. Then I rinse and use the Gelee and the Cooling foot cream! SO luxurious and inexpensive.

My dad is a morning person, like a if you are not up by 7am you are lazy kind of a morning person. My darling boyfriend is a morning person. He gets up willingly and happily at 4am most Saturdays to go fishing!
I never thought I was a morning person but recently I have joined the 5am club. I do 30-45 minutes of personal growth 7 days a week. (Weekends I get up at 7 instead of 5) Slowly but surly I am seeing why my Dad and Andrew like the morning so much. It is peaceful, it is still calm and beautiful outside, its a fresh start, and there are so many possibilities.
This morning was a 4;30 morning for me. I am house sitting for a friend and have to dive a bit further to my morning job which begins at 7am 🙂 I went to bed at 9pm so I woke up feeling FRESH and ready for today.
Hope that your morning goes smoothly and you can see all the opportunity and possibility that comes your way today!

5 Minute Makeup Routine
Before Arbonne I wasn’t very good about taking care of my skin, mostly because I was too busy. This being said I wash my face twice a day now and I have started a quick makeup routine. I have created this video and below I will list each product
Step one CC Cream! I use the lightest shade. Skincare meets cosmetics to create a beautiful, healthier-looking complexion. Lightweight coverage builds to conceal blemishes and dark spots, and minimize the appearance of pores while botanicals soothe and hydrate. Our formula primes, mattifies and brightens, for more even-looking skin tone. Beauty and smarts — our CC Cream has it covered. Retails for $40
Step two bronzer-Create some solar flair. Our silky-light powder creates the look of glowing cheeks and brow bones. Brushes on evenly for a flawless-looking finish. Retails at $36
Step three- Eye Shadow Pallet- I used the garden pallet
Step four- It’s a Long Story Mascara-Life is an epic tale – start telling it with your eyes. High-performance lengthening mascara helps create the look of ultra-dramatic lashes with major longitude. Clinically tested and formulated to be water-resistant and longwearing. Retail price at $36
*Retail price just means you would pay this without discount or special offer! If you have an interest in purchasing any products let me know
Fear can be griping and terrifying. It can get your heart racing make your palms sweat. I was and still am afraid of the dark. Spiders, now those little buggers are TERRIFYING! Fear has held me back from so much and dampened my adventurous spirit.
The good lord saw fit though that I would dive into a network marketing company. I like to think of it as a little lipstick business disguised as a personal growth company. The growth and stretching that has happened over the past 2 years is INCREDIBLE…like I am a whole different person. From shy introverted wall flower to outgoing and personable woman!
Since owning my own business where fear is a daily occurrence I have been learning on practicing courage and feeling the fear and doing it anyway. “Lean in” is a phrase I mumble to y self on a regular biases.
When I am terrified to make a call I envision the call going very well and imagine myself as someone who is higher up in my company and you know what it works. I barrow their courage and make the call and you know what no phone call, no matter the outcome, has killed me yet. The worst someone has said is no, and that’s not a no to me as a person but a no to what I am presenting them with. (Took me a while to figure that one out.)
About a year ago I started attending networking events. Talk about shaking in my boots. Why would I willingly go to a place where I know NO ONE and try and make friends….um that’s anxiety producing. BUT I did it. I may have sat in my car in the parking lot for the first 20 minutes but I did it. I met some new, fun, outgoing, understanding and open friends. I was able to grow my business and network. Sitting at home never would have produced this result:-P
So whether you own your own business or not, you are going to have to feel the fear and do it anyway some days! You are going to ask that girl out, you are going to ask for a long awaiting bonus or raise, you are going to have to talk to someone who scares you.
My challenge to myself has been to do something that terrifies me two days a week. Last night I was invited to a mixer and I went and talked to STRANGERS!! I am shocking myself here lol. It feels good to be growing into who I was meant to be. It feels good to step outside, WAY outside of my comfort zone and be LIVING life. Not just so that my business grows but so that I GROW!
Big love to you all!

We all are familiar with getting in the water. I think there’s only two ways people go about it 1) Toes first then the slow painful process of inching in. Takes for ever! The second way is how my older brother prefers jumping ALL in yelling “Geronimo!”
I see a correlation in life. There are those of use who toe dip through life and others who jump ALL in hair wet and makeup running down you face.
I am working on being a jumper. By the time I show up at the Purely Gates I want to be so used to jumping into the adventure of my life I show up with my hair a wet mess and my mascara running down my face.
Friday I started a new practice of getting up at 5am and doing a personal growth hour. I take time to meditate, read, write, vision work, planning my day, and affirmations. Cant wait to see the fruits it brings and the productivity it brings.
What are you going to do to start jumping into your life!!
