I rarely blog on the weekend but yesterday was a day to blog about for sure!
I excitedly jumped out of bed at 6am (alarm was set for 7am!) to do my miracle morning and then quickly ate a piece of chocolate cream pie for breakfast (a MUST on the day after Thanksgiving ) and hurried to get my box of Christmas decorations out!
I LOVE Christmas and this is the first time in years I’ve had my own place to decorate!
Sooo fun, right?! Everything was either a gift or a dollar store find! Im sure Ill add more to my collection in the upcoming weeks.
Saturday afternoon Andrew said we are going to Morro Bay, grab some warm clothes and lets go!
What a fun filled afternoon and evening we had with his family!
Morro Rock was our first stop. It was VERY chilly but we bundled up and braved the wind.
Next we ran off to the Jerky Hut-every kind of jerky you could imagine including alligator!
SaltwaterTaffy was the next logical stop before dinner.
It took lots of menu searching for us to decide on Rosa’s! They had something for everyone from tacos, to fish and chips to pasta.
I went with a yummy burger and onion rings.
Definitely a day for the books! As we drove home I felt refreshed and filled up not just with my dinner but love and joy!
This was the first Thanksgiving I didn’t have to work in a few yearswhich was so refreshing and freeing!
I woke up at 7 & did my Miracle Morning routine and made pies and candied yams. Got an exercise video in and some arm weights!
An afternoon nap happened…What can I say I LOVE naps.
Dinner started at 4pm! We had ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, candied yams, brussle sprouts, & rolls for our main course
Rolls and sparkling cider!
After dinner we went for a sunset walk around the complex! It has been quite chilly here (35 this morning! )
After walking we played a friendly game of scatagories! So much fun!
Dessert was so delicious!
Pies galore! I had a hard time choosing so had small portions of three
Im working hard on eating intuitively. This is the first Thanksgiving I remember not stuffing myself silly and listening to my body.

Got home late last night from Ventura CA. Andrew’s grandma passed away last week so we traveled down to the funeral.
It was a sad relief. Gramma was 93 and had dementia for 10 years! She lived a good long LOVING life.
Saturday we spent the day in Ventura with the family.
We went to dinner at the harbor and walked around enjoying the Christmas lights.
Too much fried goodness
Yummy Dole Whip
Saturday night we drove to Simi Valley to spend the night. Sunday I got to spend with Paige from Healthy Hits the Spot. We went to her church Mission Ventura. Its in an old movie theater soooo cool.
We had lunch with her family at Snapper Jacks
I had the chicken enchiladas! So good!
Sunday afternoon and yesterday were all about gramma.
Happy to be home now and scrambling to plan Thanksgiving
Friday afternoon I spent working with Paige and her buisness partner Simi. They both are health coaches and have a program called Finally Free (you have to check it out!)
I met them at Bello Mundo in San Luis Obispo
So much fun & very productive.
Andrew’s grandma is dying so after a short work session with the girls I went to his mom’s where all his family was gathered.
Saturday morning I met up with my SLO girls and walked the Bob Jones Trail.
A few of us got Acai bowls in Avila
Loved the shop- they had awesome succulent decorations
I’ll post about my Sunday tomorrow because its a little more in-depth.

This is what 88 days of getting up early to do a Miracle Morning looks like!
Yesterday it meant 2 work outs! A list of goals made and scheduled for the week. A notebook of affermations and goals. A gratitude journal. 8 books read in 3 months and a vision board that is looked at daily!
Its a buisness grown, challenges faced, a buisness started, & a person growing and learning and striving for bigger, better, more beautiful things in life.
Try it! You’ll be glad you did

What a fun filled week! I launched my life coaching business very successfully I might add, worked my Arbonne business and made some steps towards my future of full time self-employment!
Friday afternoon I spent working with Paige at Scout in SLO. I left her house saying “Ill see you next week” knowing I would see her again in about an hour for her surprise birthday dinner at Mason’s Bar and Grill in Arroyo Grande.
She was so surprised!
I had chicken pot pie served in a baked potato! So yummy! We all shared a lava cake at the end of the night!
Saturday was a quiet day and family dinner!
Sunday morning I got in a hike and went home and cleaned the house top to bottom while listening to Christmas music 🙂
(I even got my car vacuumed out)
Sunday afternoon I napped and grocery shopped for the week. I wanted to make a yummy egg bake for my lunches this week.
We ran the groceries home and met with Andrew’s friend Brad for a yummy BBQ dinner at Dickies. So delicious!
Came home and food prepped for the week and enjoyed some quite time with Andrew before heading off to a house sitting job.
I woke up with my tummy feeling yucky so I packed some strawberries and a granola bar for later in the day.
Lunch was sweet potato, ham, & cucumber
I had a wild afternoon of appointments and friend time.
I met my new friend Rachel at Starbucks and had a hot chocolate with coconut milk. …so yummy
Got home at 7 & threw on some beef stew. Time to do some grocery shopping 😛
Yummy creative food day!
