Whey Not?!

For years, we have been told whey protein is the way to go, but I want to challenge that opinion.

What is whey? Well, whey protein isolate is a by-product from cheese-making. It’s the clear liquid used after the milk has curdled and is often used to feed pigs. Humans aren’t designed to drink cow’s milk, calves are!

Milk contains so many hormones and is estrogen heavy…men I am sure you don’t want to have to worry about your estrogen levels.

Whey is hard to digest !

What is up with toners?

All you skin care gurus out there, do you know why it is essential to use a toner? I had no clue until recently.

And honestly, I never even washed my face until about 28 months ago….horrifying now that I think about it.

Ok back to toners-

Our skins natural Ph level is 5.5. Skin is more acidic because your skin has an acidic mantel that helps you protect it from bacteria and helps keep valuable moisture in. When we cleanse our skin we change the PH level so the only way to bring it back up you need to use a PH correct toner.
